Identification of prognostic biomarkers related to the tumor microenvironment in thyroid carcinoma

Abstract Thyroid Carcinoma (THCA) is the most common endocrine tumor that mainly treated using surgery and radiotherapy. In addition, immunotherapy a recently developed treatment option has played an essential role in management of several types tumors. However, few reports exist on use to treat THCA. The study downloaded miRNA, mRNA lncRNA data for THCA patients from TCGA database ( https://portal.gdc.cancer.gov/ ). Thereafter, samples were divided into cold hot tumors, based immune score microenvironment. Moreover, differentially expressed lncRNAs miRNAs obtained. Finally, jointly constructed ceRNA network through differential analysis first assessed level infiltration microenvironment then score. Additionally, total 568 up-regulated 412 down-regulated DEGs screened by analyzing differences between examined genes miRNA. results revealed 629 related 114 associated with was constructed. showed five-miRNA hubnet, i.e., hsa-mir-204, hsa-mir-128, hsa-mir-214, hsa-mir-150 hsa-mir-338. present identified immune-related mRNA, miRNA network.
